Large Mirror

Bathrooms are normally smaller in size when compared to the other rooms of the home but yet they are a very important part of the home. It is your private place where you’re away from the snooping eyes your family and the world. For some people, bathroom will be their most private thinking place. 

However, a bathroom should being aesthetically pleasant, at same time should also serve its basic purpose efficiently.

No bathroom is complete without a mirror! This paradigm is very true, when it comes to bathroom decorations or even in its most basic elements, a mirror in a bathroom is a must.  Considering the size of your bathroom you can choose how big or small a mirror you want. There are varieties of exquisite mirrors of all designs, sizes, shapes and styles are available on the market.

Large mirrors in the bathroom not make the bathroom look bigger, but it also will make it brighter. A large mirror is an excellent piece to decorate a small bathroom, for it will transform a small bathroom to look bigger. And in small bathrooms, you can always cover the entire wall with large size mirror; this would certainly make it look bigger.  But, at the same time make sure that the mirror is placed at a distance and is away from water, this will keep away from damaging and soiling of mirror with water stains.

However, though it’s an excellent idea of placing a large mirror in a small bathroom to make it bigger, but at the same time the mirror should be placed correctly to enhance the beauty of the area. So, a good way to augment a small room and to make it look larger is to use diagonal lines instead of vertical or horizontal lines. A diagonal line will be obviously longer and can naturally give the viewer a notion of large size. So use diagonal lines on the flooring or you can have diagonal lines on shower doors, or even you can also have creative diagonal lines on the wall paints etc to make it look bigger.

Another outstanding idea is to give your bathroom a theme that brings out your uniqueness. Use a theme as a foundation for choosing the accessories of the bathroom. For example, you can have an oceanic theme, for which you just have to paint your bathroom in oceanic blue, swathe the boundary of the large mirror with small sea shells and conchs, use sea shell shaped soap dispensers etc.

Apart from a large mirror, a bathroom should necessarily have some other basic items as like, containers and other boxes to store soaps, shampoos, and other necessary cosmetics. For instance, you can enhance the look of the bathroom, with an addition of some beautiful and decorative containers to hide the inner necessities. And use sparkling crystal jars to hold cotton balls or cotton swabs, etc. These items will surely transform any bathroom into pleasing place.
